چکیده
Our society where communication through modern technology is prominent, seeking high speed voice, video and data in quantities that could not be imagined even a decade ago. The mobility and channel impairments have added more challenges. Multi Carrier Code Division Multiple Access (MC-CDMA) system is an attractive choice for high speed wireless communication as it avoids the problem of Inter Symbol Interference (ISI). The approach of this paper is based on Least Mean Square (LMS), Normalized Least Mean Square (NLMS) and Recursive Least Square (RLS) algorithms are considered as channel equalization method that are proposed and examined to fight for the ISI effect for MC-CDMA system of achieving fast and reliable wireless digital communication. The simulation results of estimated Bit Error Rate (BER) show that the proposed system with Binary Phase Shift Keying (BPSK) modulation with RLS algorithm outperforms as compared to other modulation techniques and channel equalization methods.

Throughput Improvement of STS-Based MC DS-CDMA System with Variable Spreading Factor
The throughput enhancement of Space-Time Spreading (STS)-based Multicarrier Direct Sequence Code Division Multiple Access (MC DS-CDMA) system is investigated in this paper. Variable Spreading Factor (VSF) is utilized to improve the data throughput of the system. In this contribution, an analytical approach is proposed to compute a new expression for the Bit Error Rate (BER) performance of t...
متن کاملPilot-Assisted Adaptive Channel Estimation for Coded MC-CDMA with ICI Cancellation
One of the promising wireless access techniques for the next generation mobile communications systems is multi-carrier code division multiple access (MC-CDMA). MC-CDMA can provide good transmission performance owing to the frequency diversity effect in a severe frequency-selective fading channel. However, the bit error rate (BER) performance of coded MC-CDMA is inferior to that of orthogonal fr...
متن کاملFrequency-Domain Pre-Equalization for MC-CDMA/TDD Uplink and Its Bit Error Rate Analysis
In multi-carrier code division multiple access (MCCDMA) uplink (mobile-to-base station), since different users’ signals go through different frequency-selective fading channels, large multi-access interference (MAI) is produced. The use of frequency-domain equalization reception can only partially restore the orthogonality among different users’ signals, resulting in a severe degradation in the...

Abstract The use of frequency-domain equalization (FDE) based on minimum mean square error (MMSE) criterion can significantly improve the downlink bit error rate (BER) performances of DSand MC-CDMA in a frequency-selective fading channel. However, the uplink BER performance degrades due to strong multi-user interference (MUI) since different users’ signals go through different channels and henc...
متن کاملOrthogonal Multi-Carrier DS-CDMA with Frequency-Domain Equalization
Orthogonal multi-carrier direct sequence code division multiple access (orthogonal MC DS-CDMA) is a combination of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) and time-domain spreading, while multi-carrier code division multiple access (MC-CDMA) is a combination of OFDM and frequency-domain spreading. In MC-CDMA, a good bit error rate (BER) performance can be achieved by using frequencydo...
